How much more scientific evidence does anyone need at this stage of the game to accept the fact that imprisoning any cetacean is cruel, inhumane and especially egregious when done for profit. And of discussion. Empty the tanks.
I recently saw a video with Tilikum depressed, and trying to get to another whale, after reading the comments, I'll never go here again. I used to go all the time as a kid, little did I know about poor shamu, Tilikum, and many other orcas.
I love animals especially sea creatures I swam with the dolphins at sea world and I saw the pain and sadness in the dolphins eyes I wish I could have helped them and those dolphins are dead now they were 7 5 4 when I went and now they are gone and that was a year ago
I have just watched a programme on orcas in captivity and what I have witnessed is completely inhuman and disgusting. I went to sea world as a child and was completely mesmerized and thought it was amazing how ever now my view has completely changed.
"The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated" - Mahatma Ghandi. Looks like we're still in the Stone Age... This type of inhumane animal exploitation is unacceptable in this day and age. Don 't care? Watch "Blackfish"!!!

Any captivity of wild animals is wrong. You would think that we have evolved past seeing other animals suffer for entertainment. You want to see whales, go to the open sea on a charter boat and see them in there natural habitat. Not just whales but dolphins and all other sea creatures.
