I knew Officer Semler when he was a Marine stationed in Hawaii 1984. Those bringing this petition explain him well all these years he has protected and served his community. It would be a mistake to dismiss a good man for one mistake. If I know Paul this will become a lesson learned for many. He should have the opportunity to serve and educate his community as he has done.

Paul Semler was a school police officer when I was in high school..I graduate class of 2006. I think he should get some kind of punishment for having a loaded fire arm for the saftey of the students falcuity and staff. Even Though the insident happend in the schools office, He should of known to unload the gun before demestrating how to clean his fire arm to another person.

Officer SEMLER is a dedicated and carinh Officer. He has always been a solid tactition and is the guy you want going through a door with you. When it comes to the students he takes more time than anyone I know to listen to and help the students. He goes out of his way to aid the students in conflict resolution both for in school situations and in their personal life. The students and faculty's safety and well being is foremost on his mind. In establishing the WW School Police, Officer Semler was a leader. He inspires others and has served as a role model / resource for younger Troopers. It is a benefit to have him at the school.
