As a sea swimmer I'd use a cold water shower to rinse off after a swim.

I'd like to be able to have a hot shower and get changed after swimming in the sea. I've had exposure several times this year because the sea hasn't warmed up due to rain.

European beaches all have shower facilities for bathers. Teignmouth should do if they wish to compete with European resorts.

Visiting yachts would benefit from some kind of facility to shower. This would encourage more to stay and visit our lovely town, bringing in much needed support for the local economy.

Having shower facilities and access to a fresh water tap on the back beach would meet the needs of visiting yachts and those on a permanent mooring.

I've thought for many years that Teignmouth would be enhanced by the provision of free public showers at two or three points along the sea front. I do occasionally use the shower in the toilets beneath the Beachcomber, but outdoor showers right by the beach would be far preferable.
