This is a positive endeavor for our community, promoting sustainable farming methods while providing education and a healthy food source. Extra care is being taken to accommodate the surrounding neighborhood and I can see no reason why this wouldn't be a win for the city of Tucson.

As a former neighbor whose property abuts Jake's from the back, I fully support his urban farm project and look forward to returning to visit his progress. Having lived in the Blenman Elm Neighborhood off and on since 1959, it's my opinion that an urban farm will be a huge contribution to a community that truly values sustainability.

I've only known Jake and Ray for a rather short time. I've learned a great deal from their expertise thus far and support this project 100 percent. There is a huge need for environmentally - friendly building and agriculture techniques. Despite our local desert climate, we could employ these techniques for the greater good - to include overall sustainability and water security. This project seems like a positive step in that direction and deserves full support.
