I have been friends with Jake and followed this group and their efforts for several years now and they sure have proven themselves innovative and more than capable of the task and goal ahead and really should be seeing more support from their local government rather than deadlines and permit shut down threats. This is why we don’t have more things created by small groups of people any longer in our communities. A small start up non profit shouldn’t have to spend thousands on lawyers and a status symbol before the local government takes their efforts seriously and offer financial vouchers for permit cost etc. The program creates sustainable agriculture for its community and also allows for education purposes now and down the road. We can’t pretend to support the community and take pride if small groups of dedicated people can’t contribute to their community without first crossing all the red tape of the government bureaucracy.This is really shameful of the city to enforce such a deadline to a good cause and shows a trending wrong in America. Jake is serious and this project is credible and should be seen as an investment into the community future of longevity and sustainability. Please do more than listen,Please support your active community members trying to invest in their community with their passions and talents. This adds diversity and appeal to your community and your support small community groups will only increase the community as a whole and possibly inspire new people to be active and more involved by handling this on a single hand case basis.Please listen to what we have to say and support small community efforts,Not derail them !

I cannot fathom the depth of the beurocracy that prevents a person from transforming thier own property into a zero negative impact on the community, yet adds so much to it. What kind of crazy world do we live in that prevents people from growing fresh vegetables in a sustainable and compact area? This is the future, can we please stop with the archaic laws and let Aqua Green provide and teach thier community these simple ways?
