I think this is a bit harsh, for a child, from what I’ve been told, has never been in trouble with the law, is a good student, and all around good young man. I “get” what the message here is supposed to be, as I’m sure everyone dies. He made a terrible mistake. He deserves a break and another chance. Don’t ruin him or his family’s life by putting him away. Just my opinion

I have known Jason and his family for many, many years and the time and devotion that they pour into our community is a blessing. I was anxious to say the least when I first heard the news. However, when hearing who it was, I was completely relieved! Now reading the post that Tara shared and really hearing the full story, I know without a doubt this boy had just planned a fun day with his dad. I support Kole and wish the very best outcome!
