Show Support for the Grand Hotel Restoration by way of Tax Relief

Supporting the restoration of the Grand Hotel will show to outsiders that Shaunavon is a welcoming community.

This petition deserves attention.

This should be common sense, widely accepted policy across the entire country but, alas, common sense is all too often in short supply. Let's all hope that is not the case here. Best of luck and keep posting your progress even though you sometimes make this old retiree not only fondly remember past experiences, but I get tired just learning of all the hard work you do.

This is a great idea and long overdue.

This hotel is the reason my family will travel to Shaunavon from British Columbia in 2025: we’re excited for the Open House & look forward to seeing the work. Once complete, it will bring in tourist dollars to the entire community. Please support this restoration work in any way you can.

Heritage buildings, business and homes, are in serious need of support in Saskatchewan. What Kent Karetaker is doing with the Grand Hotel in Shaunavon is very important to the history of Saskatchewan and the community, past, present and future!

This would be an awesome way to help people who are dedicated to preserving heritage buildings which are valuable and irreplaceable to our communities.

Kent has and is doing a remarkable job of restoring this heritage building. He deserves the support of the Mayor and Council and the citizens of Shaunavon.
