Canadians don't value heritage properties enough. For those individuals and groups willing to take on this type of restoration work, a tax break is the least that can be done to show support.

Too often the Historic buildings are lost to demolition. When someone offers to retore a beautiful old piece of History, they should be some kind of incentive. Please help by eliminating property taxes.

I live on the eastern side of the province. One day in our travels we will come and see the progress. Then one day we plan to stay the night when it is all done. He is putting in a great deal of time and money, that no one cared to. I am asking for him that you recognize the work that he is doing. It will only benefit your town.

To the town of Shaunavon the revenue this will bring in the future as a tourist attraction will far outweigh the taxes you would lose in giving this historic restoration a break.
