Show Support for the Grand Hotel Restoration by way of Tax Relief

Imagine how much the town will benefit as people come to see and experience the completed heritage project - he deserves a break on the taxes.

Kent has done an amazing job with the resources he has, including bringing economic impact! I hope the city works towards supporting all heritage sites moving forward.

come on Shaunovan, Val Marie gave the fellow there a tax break for years when he brought the Convent Inn. Why not Shaunovan? Give Kent a break please!

Good honest work is being done in preserving this hotel. We need more people like this man to preserve our old buildings.

Council should be supporting this venture, not creating obstacles. Please grant tax break. You really haven't anything to lose other than a piece of your towns history.

I think this restoration project will definitely be a successful tourist attraction and as such there should be recognition of this in the form of tax reduction or waiver during the restoration process, unfortunately due to the cost of restoring historic buildings far too many are being demolished - you are lucky to have this gem preserved !

This building is worthy of restoration and a Tax deduction and Grant Money.

This incentive will encourage people to save part of Saskatchewan’s history instead of letting it crumble. Those who are passionate about these places shouldn’t have to shoulder the entire burden to preserve the province’s and the communities collective heritage.

Exciting to watch the progress….. maybe it’s time to actually help people who are working toward making communities a better place…..
