Surrey County Council have issued a proposal to amalgamate three schools in Staines.
Knowle Park Infants,Shortwood Infants and Kingscroft Junior School to become a split site primary school.
Parents,Teachers and Governors of Shortwood support this merger and believe a through Primary School will have many advantages for Children,Parents and Carers for years to come.

Long overdue. Staines needs this change to help the kids transition properly to juniors.
Shortwood has always been a great school. A primary school setup just makes sense for the community.
THE COUNCIL NEEDS TO LISTEN FOR ONCE! stop stalling and let the merger go ahead.
My son goes here and we really want this to happen. It will be much better for everyone involved.
Get it done. Kids need consistency and this will help a lot.

This would be so much easier for parents with kids in both schools. Dealing with two different drop off times is a nightmare.
