Dear Elected Official: We, the undersigned voters, are against your supporting any measure that would further limit our individual rights as smokers. We are opposed to raising the taxes on anymore cigarettes any higher than they already are. The huge settlements that were given to states, from the tobacco companies,have been eaten up by programs our elected officials intitiated,rather than going for the health needs of the smokers that were affected in the settlements in the first place. We do not believe that any further tax monies collected would be spent any better. You can be assured that if you support any measures and or laws that further limit our rights in public places, such as restaurants, offices, etc., we will exercise our rights against you in our local polling place. Bottom line we will vote you out of office!
