First, their takin away our electives which help us decide who we want to e alter in life as second, they aren't the ones taking electives or the common core classes. And thirdly, there will be fewer teachers and fewer students. This is stupid

The 8 period schedule, which is actually a 7 period schedule, won't provide students the opportunity to take as many classes as now. Since lunch is mandatory, students will have 2 less periods to take classes. We're expected to take gym afterschool if we want another class, but then we can't join clubs. So, we can technically only take 6 classes. After math, english, history, and science, that's only two electives. If you're taking a foreign language class, that's only one elective that you can take. I've always taken 2 or more. This year, I'm taking 3 technology classes and a music class, and I'm really enjoying my classes. This wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for 9 periods and optional lunch. So, I believe the schedule should remain how it is now.

I believe that the schedule that we have now is fine, and that the new schedule will lessen the opportunity of honors students to undergo a full schedule, which will benefit students going to college. In essence, with a mandatory lunch period, there are seven periods available, making only enough room for one, maybe two electives. This is reducing the chances of getting into college to the same level as normal students, and means that all the hard work of honors students now means nothing. I implore the Board of Education to withdraw their decision to implement a 8 period schedule. Thank you.

I don't see why the schedule needs I be changed, what good will it do? And as a junior next year is the year I will have the most time to take the art classes I've been wanting to take. With this change I won't be able to take them it will be an inconveinance with my major.

This schedule change takes a turn into ridiculous territory. This alters too much; takes too much away from the students. Only one elective? Yeah, that'll help with college. I apologize for being rude, but the entire notion of this schedule is frankly crazy.
