My son loves the choices, the opportunities, and the time devoted to all his interests. with the schedule as it is, he CAN do it all. Change the schedule and you will not close doors for him, but slam them and create avoidable stress for all students who enjoy more than academics. Develop the whole child, during the school day. the schedule is not broken, so don't try to fix it. And don't break it.

Starting earlier and extending the day in an awkward way will give kids more stress, anxiety, and sleepless nights, more than 7:30 already does. You keep moving our time back, when the study shows that high schoolers should not start till 8:30. I get that is hard to do, but there is NO reason to go early. Not to mention you're cutting down students chances to get ahead of the games for colleges, and if we cut clubs, college applications look boring and plain.

It's not a smart idea to uave a new schedule sweethome will loose more students. I know if the schedule stands for next year Im leaving Sweethome

I am signing this petition because the proposed schedule change is going to prevent me from taking all of the classes I want my senior year. It will make me take a lunch, taking another period for taking a class away from me when I don't want to take a lunch. It will make me stay after school every other day for a class that I simply do not want to extend my day for, and also make it more difficult for me to participate in after school activities. I do not want this schedule change. I feel like it's putting students in honors and AP courses at a disadvantage, and it takes away our music, art, and technology classes.

I feel as if this change will make it so students won't have enough electives to pass high school. if gym is afterschool I think students wouldn't go. exercise should be an important thing in your life. many people may skip classes just because there to long. I can bearly keep focused in a class now how am I suppose to sit for 50 mintues without any breaks? I have many questions about this

With the inability to take more classes, and the fact that some things will be after school, I feel as if students who can't stay after school because they need to take a sibling off a bus or do extracurricular activities will be hindered from getting into top colleges.

Rumor has it that the new schedule change will limit electives and classes we can take which I think is ridiculous, compared to my other school I feel we already have limited electives and extra classes to chose from. This is only hurting us
