Because of those screaming everyone is racist, everything needs to be changed or someone's feelings might get hurt. For God sake, these people need to give it a break. They are the ones that are being racist. I thought we as tax payers should have some say so, but we don't because the School Board is going to do as they damn please. Bunch of idiots!

It is irresponsible to spend taxpayer money on changing our schools names. Our teachers are already spending their own money buying classroom supplies. Use this money for raises and supplies. Changing names and mascots will not change history.

This is ridiculous. There is always going to be something that offends somebody. Lately there is a lot that offends. I’m ashamed of my representatives for falling for this pressure. I’m not racist but I believe in history staying put as a guide for our future and our descendants. I believe that MLK was a great leader and his monuments should be honored as well

I pray that our “ powers that be” will wake up and realize that changing the name of our school/schools would be a huge mistake. Let’s learn from our history..let’s not pretend our country’s history never happened.

I dont think the names of these schools should change...theres a national battlefield park 2 miles from the school.its part of the history of this great valley.it runs deep....more ppl talk bout it being racist the more the kids get on board..kids are mostly followers...and as leaders of the comminty we teach our kids the right way to treat ppl then they grow up to be non racial adults...has nothing to do with schools name..again unless adults push the issue...thanks for your time
