I do not approve of the new zoning change for Section 750 for Shelby County as it would violate the right to use such antennas as per the guidelines set forth by the FCC.
I have been digging through the FCC guidelines all morning because these local zoning folks really think they can just ignore federal law which is honestly exhausting to keep track of but here we are. People are reaching out with their own stories about these antennas and it is clear I am not the only one losing sleep over this weird interpretation of their own rules.

I just looked at the screen and realized how many people are actually behind this which feels honestly surreal because I started this in my kitchen while drinking cold coffee and feeling totally ignored by the zoning board. It is genuinely wild to see people catching on to this antenna issue because it felt so technical and dry at first but clearly someone else is as annoyed as I am.

Ridiculous that the county thinks they can override the FCC. We need our antennas for real comms not just hobby stuff.

My husband has been a ham operator for years and this is just unfair. Leave the zoning alone!
