The players need to be able to leave their gear and not have to carry it back and forth to campus. They were promised a locker room and shouldnt' have to give up their personal space to a visiting football team. The school has invested millions of dollars for access to quality facilites for the athletes.

I rarely sign petitions but this situation is so unjust to the Sharks' players and needs to be rectified ASAP! I hope Simmons administration takes this seriously and I eagerly await their written response.

As it is now brighten high school has 2 locker rooms out of 4 . Why do they deserve more than half? They asked and we say NO!

Let them have their locker room. No sharing with high school boys. NOT COOL

Sharks deserve equality! Boys' high school football shouldn't take precedence over our teams.

They have waited long enough for a home field and locker room! Do not take their space away!

Total sexism! Putting boys high school football teams above a home team college women's program is NOT ok. Come on! Don't give in girls. Let the boys share their lockers.

I'd be willing to bet that if it were male athletes sharing the locker space, they wouldn't be asked to move! I support the Simmons' field hockey team and this petition 100%. Go Sharks!

I fully support these young athletes. Keep the promises that were made to them. No excuses accepted!

Another example of administrative bullying These athletes are playing for the love of the game with no scholarship money. They are learning at a young age promises are only as good as the person backing them up. In today's political and academic environment trust ,respect and moral character are severely lacking .

Women in athletics should be given just as much commendation and respect as men in athletics!! These girls deserve their locker room and their home space to share as a team.

My daughter was told before she even decided to attend Simmons that there would be a soccer field, and it took longer then anticipated so we are disappointed that the facility is not what was promised.

Not cool. Simmons athletes were promised a home and now they're being kicked out. Come on guys. We're better than this. Our athletes deserve better. They shouldn't have to fight for something that is rightfully theirs.

So get Simmons to find the project and then back out on commitments to them? Shame on Brighton!
