Taking away hunting takes away from some of the history and heritage of the inlet. Banning hunting could set a precedent for other areas such as Little River!

Just veiled attempt by anti-hunters to restrict hunter access. Sportsmen are the only people that pay for the conservation that "conservationists" so actively seek. They're reactions and arguments are based solely on emotion and when we start giving in to emotions, reason and logic go out the window.

No need to close any more hunting areas. There is a 200 yard rule that SCDNR imposes as to not hunt close to a residence.

I for one am against Murrells Inlet becoming a protected bird sanctuary. It is clear that anyone voting otherwise is voting for a "hidden" cause.

Don't stop our hunting our kids grow up hunting . This is what keeps kids out of trouble. Hunting fishing are the two main things for children to do around here. Without these there's no clean things to do. I know it keeps a lot of kids straight knowing that they can go hunting and fishing instead of doing what most kids are doing now.
