As a native born on the Creek, my Family generation after generation has hunted in and around this creek all my life whether it's been waterfowl or any other legal game...I find that it put Food on our table when there wasn't any other way. Therefore I find it ridiculous that people that know No history of this area come here and try to change everything! I strongly support hunting, fishing, and shellfishing, the things I've done all my life!!!
Most people don't even have a clue that Huntington State Park is already a Bird Sanctuary and they actually claim some of the residential part of the inlet. (Huntington Marsh & Inlet Marsh)

All them tree hugging Yankees that don't contribute a dime to the conservation of birds and wildlife need to go back to where they came from. We the hunters contribute and make it possible for all wildlife that we hunt each and every year to be there for following seasons to come not these people wanting sanctuarys and such

my family has owned a house on the point since before Hurricane Hugo and has hunted the inlet for as many years also. It should remain that way for many years to come.
