Shannon Quay West Hotel, Ruskey, Co. Leitrim should not be used to house Asylum seekers to the detriment of the village and it's local population.

No facilities available to locals. What are 80 people expected to do all day ?? No where to play, walk or be educated.

It's bad enough given lack of resources planning etc if these are all genuine asylum seekers. The stats to date are clear, the majority are refused asylum and of those a large part stay in the country. Who believes these predominately young men have been vetted properly. We should not be accepting this as the norm.

There is nothing for the refugees to keep them busy so what are they supposed to do all day. I think it only would make them get up to no good

Not content with flooding semi-urban areas of Ireland with Nigerians, Poles, Brits and Syrians, they’ve decided the next target must naturally be the most original, untouched authentically Irish part of the country. Nothing is sacred anymore.
