Shannon Quay West Hotel, Ruskey, Co. Leitrim should not be used to house Asylum seekers to the detriment of the village and it's local population.

Rooskey is a beautiful little village !! This would ruin it ,,there is no work for these people in it and they'll end up robbing eveyone ,,

Take the problem, move it West to where the population is small and let them deal with it. No infrastructure has been provided for these people and if anything the government should be trying to help this region instead of dropping off 80 asylum seekers and turning a blind eye. The community still hasn't recovered from the closure of the factory and all the spin off businesses that folded thereafter, how can it possibly deal this influx of people? I hope these people are given somewhere suitable to stay and to prosper but dropping them in a hotel in a small village certainly isn't the answer

It's a small tourist village. Rooskey is not suitable for these people. Look after our own first. Open this property as a hotel and for nothing else and bring back employment to Rooskey. We need our tourist to keep visiting. Don't drive them away altogether.

Corrupt legalised people trafficking. A money racket for the big boys and further ruination of rural Ireland, it's culture and Heritage

This is a tourist destination so this premises should be only licensed to serve that notion

They cant help the poor homeless people of ireland but yet they can bring in these people and given the best of lives here sickens me

Though Ruskey is a beautiful and welcoming village it has neither the infrastructure nor services to support refugees. Try Longford instead :)
