Shannon Quay West Hotel, Ruskey, Co. Leitrim should not be used to house Asylum seekers to the detriment of the village and it's local population.

No infrastructure for refugees. No consultation just a fait accompli. Strongly disagree with this.

its up to the people to decide whats best for their area not some shock of a 1000 foreigners just arrive on their door step without any consultation

There is nothing to offer anyone in roos key let alone asylum seekers. Open up as hotel give jobs to locals..

They shoul not be let into a small village. Keep them in Dublin. Find them jobs

I dont agree with the line in the Petition ' We demand our rights as Irish citizens to see our village return to prosperity.' It's not our right! I also think it is unnecessary for comments like 'send them back to their own country' or 'they will and up robbing everybody'. I don't agree with these asylum seekers coming to our village, it's not at all suitable nor I'd imagine, is the current state of the hotel suitable.

Rooskey is not suitable for them what are they going to do with them selfs every day of the week

I completely agree wth this petition, Rooskey is not equipped to handle the ppl it has . Adding more ppl is a bad idea for them & Rooskey.

They should not let the asylum go forward it will ruin the village

It’s a disgrace, Roosky is now dead, and house prices have already started to fall from a low base

I think the whole thing is wrong its not a proper home or setup for this,

The local community should have been consulted and balloted.

What they going do all day no employment in area. Think if plenty to do there the hotel would still be open.
