Shannon Quay West Hotel, Ruskey, Co. Leitrim should not be used to house Asylum seekers to the detriment of the village and it's local population.

Ruskey is not suited to a large population of asylum seekers, and to put them there is very short sighted .

This is not right for anyone, the community is to small and these people need help they are coming from a war torn country. They’ll need therapy, guidance and compassion not dumped in rural Ireland with no support with people who are resentful because of the way the government went about it! Not fair on the refugees and not fair on the people in the community. Shame on the government!
