Let them express their shops personality and energy through their chosen pallette. It's not graffiti - it's a clean, well done paint job - it makes the building look classy and still very much historical!

This is tastefully done.....I'm a small business looking to relocate to a small town.....this store front has made think twice about Perth....in a good way...

Personally, I love the colours of Shadowfax. I believe the orange goes well since there are many heritage buildings in Perth that are orange or have an orange hue. The whole world should be working towards being green. What is more heritage than purple. Purple is the colour of royalty. Was not Perth settled by Loyalists?

The colours are perfect for the town and the store. Warm and inviting. Please seriously address revising the rules of so-called Heritage colours. The colour purple has so many wonderful symbols, including royalty, dignity and peace.

Store looks beautiful! The paint needs to stay and we need new, younger, in touch with the times, town council representatives.

Its sad- Perth has meetings to try to attract small business- however if there is such a HUGE issue over a green door- I won't be doing business there.

Having lived in Perth, ON as a child, I only get back to visit every few years, and every time I come back things have changed. But with so many of the major landmarks from my childhood gone, seeing Shadowfax as I drive down Gore St is one way I know that I'm "home".
To have lasted 37 years in business is an enormous feat in a town like Perth. I can't imagine it's been easy, and I can't imagine bureaucracy like this makes it any easier. From my view, the Town of Perth should be doing everything it can to support its local businesses.

In a world where horrible things are happening every day, we should be embracing these happy, joyful colours! When I drive by Shadowfax and see these bright happy colours, I’m immediately cheered up, even if it’s for just one moment!

I visited Perth to see the store front that was supposed to be an atrocity to the heritage building that it belonged to, but what I found was a store front that took nothing away from it's heritage and enhanced it instead! Please revise your colour chart to allow this beautiful storefront to remain.

The colors chosen for Shadowfax are stunning! They perfectly suit the shop and what it has to offer. Perth is a historic town, it is also a unique and beautiful town. It's time to begin showing that side!

Shadowfax'a newly paint job is beautifully eye catching to the towns people and toursists as well. There is no safety concerns regarding the colour of this shop, but more incentive for shoppers to stop by, see what the store is about and support local.

Great colours!! I love the term 'Heritage'- YOU pay the outrageous taxes to the city, not the old 'heritage' owners but have to conform to the city's outdated beliefs. Fantastic paint job, please send me the colour palettes when you get a chance. Because I don't want to be really old and on my death bed like city council.
