I think the storefront looks fantastic and does not take away from the heritage look .The stonework of the beautiful buildings of Perth is what brings out its heritage beauty . I think the whole town should be painted up pretty and inviting to people as Shadowfax is. It is very tastefully done.

We come to Perth every year for vacation. The stores downtown are always a part of our visit. This store's unique paint design takes nothing away from the town of Perth!

The town of Perth should extend their timeline, allowing time for the paint to cure and for public consultation to take place. I am disappointed in their lack of support for the local business community. Makes me think twice about making our regular trip to Perth. Shame on them...

Former Perth resident and I support Shafowfax. Town Council needs to get with the times. It isn't the 1800's

I support this 100%. I was raised in Perth since age 4 (33 years ago) and live here now - and feel the heritage aspect of Perth can be maintained along side the joy and colour of the modern.

As a person who loves to visit Perth and shop I am way more likely to visit the bright fresh Shadowfax than alot of the other rundown, "questionable" looking shops. Stay bright!

I love the new look. It is so inviting and intriguing. Definitely would peak the interest of tourists and encourage people to go inside. The colours liven up the street.

I grew up in Perth and return each year - the paint colours of this store do not reflect negatively on the heritage look of Perth - in fact they enhance it!
Get with it town council

This feels like the end of Pleasantville (1998) when the open-minded people start turning from black and white and the old fuddy duddies get mad. Colour is nice. Ban neon signs. Ban Walmart. But let Shadowfax be pretty.

Town of Perth should focus on storefronts that all falling apart.... also, I believe there are gold dragons on Skye Dragons storefront, I don't remember gold dragons written anywhere in the town of Perth' s history.

These colours are magnificent! This is 2017 for goodness sake. The town should focus their energies on more important issues.

I honestly agree with the owners of Shadowfax to give the paint time to cure. Is there no flexibility to the Heritage Bylaws?
