I think it is a false notion that there was historically no colour..

The people of Perth are just as much part of the "Heritage" as the buildings are...if not more actually. Shadowfax is honoring the memory of a woman who contributed to the town we love. How can that not be embraced with open arms?

Crazy ! a nearly wed or nealy dead town dictating to the business community how they should look. Funny, they are not going after the big franchise businesses. Money should be spent on actually fixing roads and not on screwing with people that bring business into the town. Is Metro or Independant, Canadian Tire, Home Hardware walking the line.?? Also, what about the businessess that existed before Perth? I think the Town should get their collective heads out of their asses and spend time on things that improve the town like a proper trucking bypass.

sad when you see slums like 6 gore st go without maintenance wires hanging off front of building for years, yet they go after someone who shows pride in their building and trademark

I loved this store when I lived in the area, particularly for its uniqueness. If anything I feel small towns should be able to embrace what is unique about them which also entices visitors to explore what wonderful things they have to offer. The village of Orono where I live now has truly embraced some unique ideas to make it special and more enticing.

It looks great, leave Shadowfax alone. This bylaw clearly is not a reflection of what the residents
or businesses want. The vibrant colours attract shoppers which is what we want, right?

I support the colors shadowfax has brought to main street and believe there are much bigger issues at hand then a storefronts color choice. Its simply embarassing on the town of Perth's role in this whole situation

Please support small business, instead of stiffling it! It's the tax dollars of patrons and small business owners that keep towns running...Not ridiculous by-laws!

Those colours are really cool and give the street a unique look. Why should every storefront be boringly the same?
