Education should be a top priority for our city, and there are no schools without our wonderful teachers. Please do the right thing and find ways to manage the city's deficit while fully and equitably funding SFUSD. I know there are creative solutions that will enable us to retain our wonderful SFUSD teachers and make it possible for them to live in the city they are serving.

We are fully behind our teachers who have dedicated their lives to helping kids. They deserve a fair contract. If we want our kids to thrive, our teachers also need the resources to thrive at work and at home.

Give the teachers and paraeducators a fair salary and cut the bloated central office.

Teachers are way under paid, and under appreciated in this country. They deserve better and so do our kids!

SFUSD teachers have consistently gone above and beyond for my children and there peers for the 13 years we’ve been here. They deserve better pay and (for heavens sake) a functioning payroll.
