This soldier or any soldier from the USA should not have to take punishment for doing the right thing we go there to help these people that does not mean we have to become degenerates like some of them, thats why they hate us because we do whats right.. Im proud of this young man send them a copy of lee greenwoods cd. we will always stand for right in this country and we need a president who stands beside us..

His lawyers should know that AZ Congresswoman and fighter pilot Martha McSally petitioned and won to not have to honor the culture where she served by wearing head scarves because their women had to. In the same way, we should not have to honor their sin culture., but rather our own culture of what is right. Besides, it is not really their cultural value because they believe sex is supposed to be confined to marriage.. Shame on our military leaders for holding such a heinous view and acting on their despicable ideas. There are too many wicked leaders of the US military and they are the ones that need to be replaced!

This man SHOULD NOT, repeat, NOT !!! be forced to leave the military, which apparently he loves dearly & up to this incident, had a spotless award metal filled jacket.

The effort to relieve SFC Martland of his career in the service is a disgrace. I'm grateful that Reps. Hunter and Thornberry have taken up his cause and pray that Sec. McHugh sees the light of day and reconsiders his order of discharge.

SFC Martland is EXACTLY the person of character that this nation needs and should be seeking to represent and defend us. I regret the treatment he has received and I KNOW that should his military career end, he will have NO problem finding success in the civilian world as there are plenty of business owners who would recognize his worth. Shame on those in authority who have taken a stand against this remarkably brave man.

I think SFC Charles Martland is a credit to our nation and should be applauded for his actions. It is beyond belief that our military would punish one of their own for standing up for the less fortunate! Is this what we have come to? Turn away..watch a small child and woman be abused? That's the problem with our society now. Thank you for standing up for what is right, you are a great man.
