Please update me on this matter as it struck me very deeply. I am a former Marine and was married to an Afghan woman and have heard terrible storied about these sorts of abuses that go on in Afghanistan with no justice for the victims. Let there be justice for this victim and let's send a message to these criminals that their atrocities will be dealt with. This boy has to live with his torture for the rest of his life, the policeman got off easy with a few bruises. Reinstate Sgt 1st class Martland and send the message of support for our troops and for the people of Afghanistan and others that our servicemen and women are a source of help and can be trusted and really do care.

Intervening on behalf of a kidnapped child who was also being raped should be commended not condemned to an involuntary discharge. This is ridiculous.
