I grew up in a military family; my father was an Air Force officer for 30 yrs. I want to continue to be proud of our armed forces. The Army MUST REINSTATE SFC MARTLAND.

Sgt Martland should be given a medal and promoted, as should any US Soldier acting to protect the innocent from slavery and abuse.

It is a moral failing of a country (The USA) & others that condones the rape of its children. And, to punish a man for intervening on behalf of those children is despicable and cowardly and NOT uncommon in a military, a government that gleefully sends men & women to fight & die for their self-serving agendas but wont them to blindly serve. SFC Charles Martland & the others who intervened should be applauded. And, it is believed by some that Lance Cpl. Gregory Buckley Jr., who isn't here to tell his story, was murdered by one of the child victims

An Army that does not fight for what's right is an armed mob. Re-instate this hero and promote. I am a proud former soldier of the US Army. Do not shame my Army. If you can't stand for right in this, you can't stand for anything. Stand or get out.

Unbelievable that Obama and the Army have damaged this man's reputation and career. He did the right thing when he helped that boy.
