SFC Martland appears to be exactly the type of soldier and leader that Army needs to preserve and hang onto. This supposed black mark against him is akin to punishing an employee for being late for work because he stopped at an accident scene and performed CPR to save a life!

If the story holds true, he should be awarded for protecting another human being; the child being raped by an Afghan Commander. Our Country has been cut loose from it's moral mooring by the liberal elite who are such a small but very vocal part of America. From the PC correctness run amuck with attacks on free speech to the carving up of baby body parts to sell to the highest bidder, we are going to hell in a hand basket! If we as Christians don't get our collective act together to do God's work we will loose everything we hold dear. Not trying to paint everyone with the same brush because there or Christians in the fight, but far to many are sitting on the sidelines. Get in the fight!!!!
