SFC Charles Martland took the appropriate action in standing up for the rights of this Afghani rape victim & his mother. SFC Martland's actions are deserving of accolade, not censure. Congratulations to Congressmen Hunter for bringing this miscarriage of justice to light.

This is a disgrace and an outrage. The whole Department of Defense should be investigated and harshly reprimanded, whether this abomination is allowed to stand or not. All personnel who had a hand in the ruination of Sgt 1st Class Charles Martland's career should be tried by Courts Martial, convicted and shot.

This is a TRAVESTY! It pains me to say this but our country no longer deserves the service and sacrifice of men like SFC Martland if this is their reward. We need more MEN like the SFC and less beta males like the careerist politicians throwing him under the bus!

If this is the way we treat our soldiers who are protecting a country they don't even live in and defenseless citizens of that country, then God help us no one will serve. We will just protect our homes and let the others dissolve into chaos.
