Being disciplined for taking action to protect someone who could not protect themselves is not OK! Thank you for standing up to such a horrible criminal.

Sad when a hero is denigrated when acting as a true American should. Rape is not a victim less crime. God bless SFC Charles Martland and wish more were like him.

What is wrong with our country? A man dedicated to his country and helping people abroad and all he gets is trashed! SFC Charles Martland should immediately be reinstated and maybe charges brought against those who brought him down .

SFC Martland should be applauded for taking action to protect a small boy and, in so doing, the Afghani people he was charged to protect. A true American hero.

He stood up for human rights against a corrupt policeman who was funded by the U.S.?? All he did (with another office) was shove the man....who is lucky he didn't get it up the ass. A decorated officer of the U.S. should not be a scapegoat and material for spin doctors who would rather save face than honor the code of ethics,

This is absurd what you're doing to this man. I don't know what is going on with this Country anymore. This is ridiculous and I don't support the evil that is destroying this man's life. This has to be stopped.

Our "leaders" have no idea what the environment is like. They may stop in for the occasional short visit, but that doesn't show them the reality of things. They are not exposed to the reality of the war that we experience time after time, deployment after deployment. Political correctness and appeasement will be the death of the nation. If this is an isolated incident and the soldier has been an outstanding performer in the past then it should be a counseling statement at most and then put into an historical record. Let this soldier continue on in his career and his service to our great nation.
