I am disgusted with everything that is happening, SFC Charles Martland did the absolute right thing. How could the Military allow something like this to happen? He should have been given a medal.

While I've not been on a team with SFC Martland, we were in the same company for a few years and I've never heard an ill word about him. When SFC Martland's name is said, it is always followed with accolades.

Child sexual abuse and slavery are things the US should stand against. I find it deplorable that the Military has chosen to stand up for a pedophile and ruin a good man's military career. This is not the USA that I was brought up in.

This Soldier deserves promotion and expunge his service record of anything negative to do with his heroic actions against this child molester !! His actions certainly does not deserve being forced from service . He should be given a hero's award for his standing up for this kid and his mother !!

I feel SFC Charles Martland is an outstanding Green Beret that has impectable honor and morals that reflect the feeling of United States culture. The Officer in question was completely out of line and should have been fired from his position as a police officer. SFC Charles martland should be given an award of bravery for going to the defense of a woman that had been beaten because the Police Officer raped this little boy. He should not be kicked out of the military for his behavior.
