Once again we see a fine service member being subjected to unfair treatment for doing what is right. This cannot keep happening. I served 23 years in the Air Force and never can I think of a time when something like this would be permitted to happen. Our leaders today have been turned into lap dogs and need to stand up for what is right and not for what this administration wants. Everything possible should be done not only to exonerate this man but to retain him as he the made from the fabric that our military needs to be its leaders.

In my opinion, SFC Charles Martland should NOT be discharged from the military and his record should be expunged of any negative remarks in regard to the incident of him defending a small child that had been raped and the beating of his mother for reporting it. If we cannot no depend on men/women such as Martland to stand up to heinous acts such as this, what have we become as a nation?
