The perverbial handcuffs being placed on our military is ludacris. What SFC Martland did was a gesture to instill discipline and accountability into this Afghan leader. By relieving these 2 soldiers, you just told the Afghan leaders they can treat people however they want, whenever they want, with no regard to human decency. Is that not the very thing we are there to protect their people from and try and reverse in the leaders?
