As a proud US Army Veteran, I absolutely support the reinstatement of SFC Charles Martland. His actions in taking a stand to protect innocent lives is a credit to his service and moral fiber. In my opinion, he showed FULL control and restraint by not giving the pervert what he truly deserved. He simply took a stand and issued a stern physical warning to someone who obviously needed it. The boy and his mother needed someone strong to stand in their defense. That's exactly what SFC Charles Martland did. As a US Army Veteran and father of two, I couldn't be prouder of his actions!

Rep. Hunter, As a TEXAS Veteran I ask that you make the right decision and allow this Green beret back in to service and wear the uniform that many of us to the oath to defend our great nation. What SFC did show to me that he is an outstanding soldier and made is judgement based on action. That child had parents image how they feel, I'm sure that mothers mother was glad SEC was there to take action. This administration need to pull there heads out of the cornhole - we don't even have a plan in place to fight this organization but will fighting to have a service member discharged is ridiculous
