Should be rewarded for his bravery and courage to stand up for those who are helpless and silent victims. He is a hero!

The Army is disgracing itself with it's treatment of honorable soldiers.

This man served as an example of what we hope our military members should be like.... A man of respect and care for other people. He should be promoted rather than discharged from the military. For heaven's sake, do what is right for this man.

His job as a soldier is to defend the USA and its inhabitants from harm foreign or domestic. He did so. Reinstate him.

There can be no justification in punishing a Soldier for serving with honor and upholding the Army values. This type of shameful beligerance to honor and duty can and will contribute to the continuing decline in moral and faith in leadership.

This mother has two active duty children - my prayer is that they would do exactly as Sgt. Martland in that same situation. We raise our kids - and then ask them as adults - to "do the right thing". Sgt. Maryland DID.
