This mother has two active duty children - my prayer is that they would do exactly as Sgt. Martland in that same situation. We raise our kids - and then ask them as adults - to "do the right thing". Sgt. Maryland DID.

SFC Charles Martland did not do anything that any of us would not have done. He observed evil and confronted it. Stop this action against him and let him do his job. Any action against him would be a disgrace.

It's understood that there are certain guidelines ROE etc...that a soldier must follow.. He did not harm the pedophile, he pushed him down to show his force using the minimal amount of force necessary to get the perpetrators attention. He is a hero.

We should have more ppl whether civilians or miliary standing up for abused children... Politicians need to get with the program of protecting and serving the children of our future representatives than trying to hurt those that do.
