Thank You for standing up for those who can not stand up for themselves. It is what those who serve a cause greater than themselves do. Now it is time for us to stand up for you. What can we do to help. You have my support.

SFC Martland should not be punished for upholding the highest standards of human decency. To free the oppressed sounds like exactly what he did.

This is disgraceful on the military's part. This man deserves a medal, not what the army wants to do to him!

I am appalled. The military should stop delaying (probably trying to find some way to discharge him, even against overwhelming public opinion) and shouold simply give him a commendation.

This officer did the right thing. Who is so immoral that they would reprimand or discharge him for helping the boy. He should have put a bullet in the Afghan officers head and then been given a medal for it.

Biden appeared at the academy awards, speaking out about everyone doing something when you see mosetation going on, then when someone does something they are punished for it. That is our government at work.

This is an injustice, and for the life of me I do not understand how this can happen.

We will vote for a women who's inaction caused the death of 4 American HERO's in Benghazi but turn our backs on another American hero who did the right thing and confronted a child rapist. What a disgrace.

If this man is taken out like this then it is time for our Military and all Americans to take out our Government even by force and excute them fo treason!

Proud of his action to do the right thing. I am guessing he even showed restraint because the sick pig Afgan is still alive.

The is a disgrace. Soldiers like this should be honored, not reprimanded. This sends entirely the wrong message.
