While we need to maintain our composure while overseas, the punishment here does not fit the crime.... Support this Sgt for standing up for our values and keep him in our military!!!

Whoever started the process for this discharge should be the one to get QMP.

When their "religion and culture" say they will annihilate the West, we start a war but when their "religion and culture" is to rape young boys, we need to respect that? God bless you SFC Martland! You are a man among men. I am truly grateful for your service and the stand you took for that young man.

showing my support for SFC. Martland. I'm outraged at the leadership in the military and demand action from congress and the president.

I applause his actions on defending a child. We need more like him in our military.

It is wrong to punish SFC Martland for standing up for the abused and beaten.

Bravery should be applauded not mistreated. SFC Charles Martland is a hero and should be able to continue his great standing for giving such courage for our freedom.

SFC Charles Martland has served our country in the highest traditions of the US Army. He should be allowed to continue to do so!

Everyone makes mistakes, wait until he makes one before discharging him.. This is exactly who should be LEADING our soldiers.. We should have spent the time you used trying to discharge him, figuring out how to reward him for his actions..

I stand with and pray for SFC Martland and his brothers in arms.

Please reinstate Sgt. Martland. He deserves better treatment from our government than he's received.

I fully support SFC Charles Martland's actions against a child rapist. Furthermore, I admire and deeply respect any person who willingly and greatly desires to continue to defend not only our country but all innocent lives affected by war.

We need people like SFC Martland in the military. He being in special forces makes his retention even more important.

Typical democratic prezident(?) y so shameful just as with the Marine (sorry I do not remember his name) that mistakenly crossed into Mexico last year y how obuma left him hanging.. If only Mr. Trump were president,, he would NOT allow this to happen to SFC Charles Martland,, as President Trump would invite this courageous "Green Baret" to the White House for dinner to acknowledge his selfless act of defending a defenseless child from a coward that received what he deserved (had he lost his appendage at the behest of SFC Martland I would applaud this punishment as well..) the child rapist is fortunate with the final outcome.. I sign this petition with pride for this Green Beret As an American that's respects this man standing up to such evil. As a wife of a veteran that would have done the same. I can only hope and pray that our military stands by Charles Martland too. In my heart and mind he deserves to have an accomadation for this act.
