I believe this soldier stood up for the principals this country was founded on and the principals I HOPE we still stand for. Protecting a young boy from a sexual predator and letting him know that there is someone there for him. I cannot understand a policy that actually tells our soldiers to look the other way. That is not America. It is shameful! Exhonorate SFC Martland and let this hero continue to serve our country. I am honored to have him protecting me.

The treatment of this man is incomprehensible! He only gave this man a taste of his own medicine, he cried more than the child he treated worse than this and SFC Martland gets punished?!! What is this world coming to. You send our loved ones to fight for all and then treat them this way. What is this world coming to? Do you want your children growing up in the type of world you're supporting and creating? I prefer to live in SFC Martland's world. Shame on you!

If America's policy is now soft on evil and punishes the good, what are we doing over there at all? These brave soldiers are laying their lives down to protect the innocent and now we PUNISH them for it?! Their sitting Commander in Chief is out of order and it is HE who should be removed from "service".

What commander would force him out? Let SFC Martland remain in the service.... But I'd seriously consider relieving his commander that recommended separation.
