To whom ever reads this. If it was your son or daughter being raped what would you have had SFC Martland do?

I applaud SFC Martland. We need more people that when they see a crime, especially one against a child, deal with the problem. I hope he kicked the snot out of that so-called police commander.
Do the right thing! God bless you!

If this happens on US bases the crimes should be punishable under US law.

God Bless you SFC Charles Martland! How anyone can stand by at such a horrible injustice and do nothing is absurd. These are crimes against humanity, not just a "cultural difference". We should not be tolerant of this type of evil. God bless you!

This is an absolute outrage! If I had children considering serving this country, especially under this President and his minions, I would strongly urge them to reconsider. SFC Martland represents everything the military use to stand for, i.e. honor, integrity, and high moral standards. Unfortunately, our military is being changed to reflect the unethical and immoral standards of Obama.

I served with SFC Martland when I was in 1st SFG(A). He was a strong soldier, team mate and individual. This action toward a soldier of this caliber is going to tarnish the Special Forces Regiment. He is one of the best. What would happen to a soldier in the U.S. If they were to turn a blind eye over this same exact incident?

As a former GB, I find the Army's decision to remove SFC Martland an abomination especially after he was protecting a young raped boy and his mother who had also been beaten. DOL.

Our soldiers should be praised not punished. We can not allow the abuse of children anywhere in the world. Srg. Martland did the right thing. If soldiers can't protect human rights then bring them back home.
