SF SUPERVISORS - SAY NO TO GROUNDWATER IN OUR DRINKING WATER!

I’ve tested my tap water and it has changed since April from 28 ppm to 67 ppm! My Brita filter, which used to bring it to 10 ppm now isn’t able to filter out whatever is in the water, because after filtering the water remains at 67 ppm. It also has a meltallic taste, which is why I tested it.

There is no excuse for poor public policy like this. Absolutely no excuse. Keep the ground water out of our Hetch Hetchy Drinking Water. San Francisco has taken pride in the quality of our drinking water for many years.

Keep our water toxin free, no contaminated ground water added.

This issue is very important to all San franciscans!!

Keep our water clean and uncontaminated in SF. Use ground water for non-potible purposes.

DO NOT ADD GROUND WATER TO OUR HETCH HETCHY DRINKING WATER. YOU ARE PLAYING WITH PEOPLE'S HEALTH!!!

What ever would possess the SFPUC to add unsafe groundwater to our Hetch Hetchy wonderful water? STOP NOW!!!!

Don't do it!!!

Groundwater is for fighting fires, etc. - not for our drinking supply!

Please be responsible with our health!

PLEASE DO NOT MAKE OUR DRINKING WATER POORER QUALITY. All drinking water must meet or exceed our current quality.

Stop contaminating our wonderful Hetch Hetchy water with groundwater. Please maintain the integrity of our water system for the health of all San Franciscans.

NO GROUNDWATER, PLEASE! The quality of our drinking water has changed so much in 10 years that we have resided here. SAD.

I can tell each time that ground water is added to our system. It is obviously not healthy and I don't understand why this is being allowed to happen. Stop it!

For the health and safety of my 2-year old son, and all other San Francisco residents, please stop mixing our drinking water with groundwater. If you are concerned that the Hetchy Hetchy supply is not a sustainable long-term option, then please implement a better / safer way to clean the water before giving it to citizens. Adding more chemicals to try to combat fertilizers and others toxins can't be the best solution for our health or taste buds!

Water is life let's make sure what comes out of our taps is as clean and healthy as possible and transparency is key if changes needed to be made for one reason or another than the public deserved to be well apprised

We should never label an urban source safe after simply testing the few regulated contaminants.
