In accordance with the BC Society Act, under which non profits are governed, the Seymour Art Gallery Membership at large would like to call for a general meeting. The purpose of the meeting will be to; 1.) Elect new board members 2.) Reinstate Jacquie Morgan as Curator/Director of the Seymour Art Gallery Please sign if you are a Seymour Art Gallery member in good standing. Section 58 of the Society Act reads: Requisition for general meeting 58 (1) In this section, "requisitionists" means the voting members who requisition a general meeting of the society under subsection (2). (2) The directors of a society, on the requisition of 10% or more of the voting members of the society must convene a general meeting of the society without delay. (3) The requisition may consist of several documents in similar form each signed by one or more requisitionists and must (a) state the purpose of the general meeting, (b) be signed by the requisitionists, and (c) be delivered or sent by registered mail to the address of the society.
