We, students of Boston University, petition that BU implements a university specific education program regarding sexual assault, its policies, and its implications for students.
We feel that students should be made more aware of BU’s policies surrounding the issue of sexual assault and its consequences. Currently, BU does not provide adequate information about the procedure of reporting a case of sexual assault. Therefore, all students should be required to view a video explaining BU’s policies and partake in a short questionnaire, before being considered compliant with the school.

BU needs to step up. This is way overdue and keeps everyone safer.
I absolutely fully support this. BU needs to increase its sexual assault prevention and policy education.
