The administration has officially reversed the decision and restored our senior quotes for the yearbook. I appreciate the effort everyone contributed to ensure our class maintained this tradition. We should remain attentive to the final publication process to ensure the transition remains smooth.

The class of 2019 at Dickson county high school would like to have our senior quotes back. The only thing personal we have,along with our senior picture, was taken away because of a few ignorant classmates, and we realize this. We are willing to work through any obstacles getting this approved, so please sign this petition to let the staff know we won’t be the first class restricted of that privilege.

As a sophomore I’d love to have the opportunity to have a quote my senior year. I also know the current senior class and upcoming would love to have the same as past seniors.
For the class that is praised for everything they do, from scores to the magazine drive, the school still decides to take away an awful lot of things from them like spirit week, relaxed dress code, senior pranks, and now senior quotes.
How are you guys gonna congratulate our class as being one of the best classes for winning magazine drive all four years, getting great test scores, being responsible, and having school support events. And yet, you take away something from us that we definitely have earned because you don’t want to deal with a few angry parents. I know this school is better than that.
I feel it is unfair to punish a whole class because of a few immature students I really enjoyed being able to leave our mark at Dickson county highschool.
The senior quotes are obviously screened before they are allowed into the yearbook, so why not just simply remove the ones that are bad. It just seems like people are not wanting to do what they said they would.
Just because a few people made Inappropriate jokes and all doesn’t mean everyone should be punished for it..

Please give these kids back what is important to them. We only get one chance at a good high school experience.. Please don't let the actions of SOME affect the entire class.
