As a sophomore I’d love to have the opportunity to have a quote my senior year. I also know the current senior class and upcoming would love to have the same as past seniors.

Y’all realize that in 10 years, you’re not going to care, right? They’re censoring the ignorant, racist, hurtful, dumb quotes because 1) they’re ignorant, racist, hurtful and dumb, and 2) because later in life, you’ll look back and you’ll be embarrassed about what you wrote. I know you’re all heated now, but trust me, this is a battle that isn’t worth arguing. imho

For the class that is praised for everything they do, from scores to the magazine drive, the school still decides to take away an awful lot of things from them like spirit week, relaxed dress code, senior pranks, and now senior quotes.

How are you guys gonna congratulate our class as being one of the best classes for winning magazine drive all four years, getting great test scores, being responsible, and having school support events. And yet, you take away something from us that we definitely have earned because you don’t want to deal with a few angry parents. I know this school is better than that.
