Seriously stop trying to ruin my senior year, if we're not allowed to wear our chords on graduation, I want all my club dues back.

deleteDec 15, 2017 TCHS Students,
I appreciate your advocacy and that you want to make a difference, but the information in this petition is False. I have not taken away Senior Privileges or Honor Cords. In the future, come see me if you have questions. I am always happy to talk to students and let you know the truth. See the correct information below...
Honor Cords- We still have Honor Cords, however I have emailed teachers to get a comprehensive list as to which organizations have honor cords. Some clubs have taken upon themselves to create cords and even more than that we have individual students going to JoAnn and making cords because "they look pretty." Honor cords are just that an Honor, and they need to be treated as such. At this time we have 36 Organizations on the list that receive cords.
Senior Privilege- I have not taken away Senior privilege. In fact Seniors got out early today. However when I see this being abused, I will stop privileges for a few days until it can be appreciated again.
Senior Quotes in Yearbook- This is something that I have decided not to have this year. Unfortunately, there is no way to know what quotes have hidden messages or are mean spirited. There were instances at other schools where this happened and schools had to spend 50k getting yearbooks reprinted. Worse than that are the instances where the victim doesn't come forward because they feel there is nothing we can do. I believe it is my job to protect our students, even as they graduate and go off to college. I hope you all can understand my decision.
And just in case it comes up, I still plan on having Senior Walkout. Figured that may be the next rumor.

This is just a rumor. We have not gotten rid of cords or Senior Privilege. See my comments on here for more details.

Jared,
This isn’t true. We still have cords and Senior privilege. The person who started the petition got bad information. Students are always welcome to come ask me if they have questions. See my comments for details about each of the three concerns.
