And surely this is a crime? If not, it should be.

Officer Punchard must be removed from the police force immediately and I believe face criminal charges for the breaches of privacy and harassment of someone it was his job to protect. Tax payers money should not be spent on this low life’s wages.

Gross misconduct. This is utterly unacceptable behaviour from a police officer.

I work for government, we cannot give out people's personal details to third parties without going through quite a protocol (including having the requestor provide a signed statutory declaration re why they require the information). Unbelievable that a police officer would give out this information, clearly completely aware that it would put someone in danger. Discipinary action is clearly required and steps taken to make sure this never happens again. People with these attitudes about domestic violence should not be in the police force.

This police officer has demonstrated that he is willing to betray the victims of DV and deliver them to their attackers. It is unconscionable that he could be allowed to remain in any position where he has the ability to do this again.

On the face of it, this is a sackable offence.

This seriously breaches their code of conduct and should result in being fired.

This man is earning a wage protecting our society. We are 36 dead women into 2018, it is time to cut the rot out of tv's police force.

The fact this man kept his job after this level of gross misconduct is a reflection of the entire culture of the QPS. Not only should Punchard be sacked but his superiors should also.

A despicable breach that should cost a 'protector of the peace' his position.

He should be sacked and charged, he has no business remaining in any position of power over vulnerable people.
