He has failed in his job to protect the community, to protect a victim and has put the victim in harms way. Disgusting.

At the very least this employee of the tax payer, should lose his job, and his entitlements be given to the victim. Yes the victim! Remember she’s the one in fear. Breach of trust from people that uphold our laws and lives in their hands. SHAME on the government.

A disgrace. Should have been sacked immediately. Where are the justifications for him keeping his job? Nowhere...

This is sickening, and the fact that a police officer, a public servant, could do this with impunity shakes the trust we all have in our society. Surely firing him is the least they can do - it breaches data confidentiality and is very possibly actual corruption?

What a dog move from someone who took an oath to protect and serve. Hope he gets everything he deserves.

He has so breached the trust of the people that he can not remain in post. The level of trust give to the police is too great to be sullied with a man like this.

This is criminal behaviour. Senior Constable Punchard should be not merely dismissed from the Queensland Police, but tried for his crimes.

Corruption in the force makes me suspicious of all police.

Shocking that there has to be a petition for this. Both the officer and offender should be imprisoned- separately as well so they can't continue to plot evil together. Unbelievable.
